If you want to get up close to our yaks, this experience is perfect for you. Not only will you be able to pet their soft woolly coats, but you will be able to enjoy feeding our yaks their favorite treats.

After a brief safety talk, your small group will hop on our hay wagon and ride out to our pecan orchard/yak pasture. When the hay wagon stops in the pasture, our friendly yaks will approach the wagon in anticipation of pets and treats. This is when the thrill of petting a yak begins and experiencing just how soft their wool feels! We’ll provide treats for you to feed to our yaks as you learn some very interesting yak facts during the experience.
